Ordering on our website is now very simple, convenient and user-friendly.

Our Direct Web Orders are as easy as grocery shopping: Shop in our Online Galleries, fill your shopping cart with any items you want by clicking any item's "Add to Cart" button, review/update your cart anytime by clicking one of the many "View Cart/Checkout" buttons, or by clicking here or on the "view shopping cart" link above. 

When you are ready to check out and process your order, the View Cart page will give you a choice of following payment options:

As an alternative to shopping with us online, you can visit us at one of the Antiques Shows where we have a booth. When purchasing at our booth, all sales are payable upon receipt of goods and are final "as is". Please, contact us for a schedule of shows we will attend.

 

 

POLICIES & CONDITIONS

 

 

1. All online products are subject to prior sale

 

 

2. Shipping, Insurance and Handling Charges

  • Shipping, Insurance and Handling are not included in our online prices.

  • Items will be shipped per UPS Ground Service, unless the buyer has indicated a different preference (eg. USPS or Fedex).

  • Costs for Shipping, Insurance & Handling will be automatically added onto the invoice and listed as "HiPro(*) Shipping, Insurance & Handling". These charges are computed as follows:

    • A flat fee (minimum fee) of $20.00 for domestic shipments, $25.00 for Canada, and $45.00 for any other country.

    • A portion of the order subtotal is added to the flat fee according to the following breakdown:

      • 5% for orders under $100.00

      • 4% for orders from $100.00 up to $499.99

      • 3% for orders from $500.00 up to $999.99

      • 2% for orders above $1000.00

  • In some isolated cases, for example when an item has a very irregular shape, or is unusually fragile, special shipping and handling/packaging charges may apply, exceeding the amounts generated by using the above standard computation methods. In this case, Out of Brussels will contact you before your order will be processed and shipped, in order to agree on such special charges. At that time, you will have the option to cancel the order if you cannot accept the higher shipping and/or handling charges. In case you had placed your order online and had your credit card charged, your credit card will then also be credited with the full amount.

(*) High Protection Shipping, Insurance & Handling is intended to optimally protect your shipments from damage

 

3. Sales Tax

  • We have a legal obligation to charge sales tax where applicable

  • Special note for dealers or other customers who are exempt from sales tax:

    • When placing your order online, you will see a text box labeled "Tax Exempt Code" in the billing and shipment section of the Shopping Cart Checkout process. Just enter "RESALE" (case sensitive!!) in this section and sales tax should not be shown on your invoice. In this case, you MUST either add your resale number in the comments section of your order, or you MUST send us an e-mail with your resale number. If you fail to do so, you expressly agree that Out of Brussels may charge you for the regular sales tax on your full order and that you will agree to a credit card charge for this amount.

    • When placing your order by Mail, Phone or Fax, please make sure to give us your resale number. Failure to do so will result in the legal sales tax being applied to your total amount due.

 

4. Timing and Order Status

  • Upon receipt of an order, and starting usually within 5 business days from it, Out of Brussels will regularly update the buyer about the status of the order. Should you not have heard from us within 5 business days, something may have gone wrong with the processing of your order. In that case, please contact us to make sure we have received your complete instructions.

  • With the first update of order status you will receive, an order number will be included, and with this order number, you can also continue to check the status of the order yourself by visiting our Order Status Page.

  • Please, remember that Out of Brussels will not ship any item(s) until after receipt, deposit and clearance of the moneys due.

 

5. Return and Refund Policy

  • The representation and description of the items on this website are true and accurate to the best of our knowledge. We strongly recommend to review the Note About Condition. This note explains the meaning of several descriptions of the condition for items and pictures posted on our website.

  • If not 100% satisfied with any purchase online, and the buyer wants to return the item(s), the procedure below must be followed:

  • Contact Out of Brussels and inform us about your dissatisfaction within 3 days from receipt of the item(s)

  • Return the item(s) within 5 days from contacting Out of Brussels

  • All return shipment and insurance costs are at the expense of the buyer (buyer will be held responsible for any damage in case insurance was not added to the return shipment)

  • A full refund check will be sent to the buyer within 10 working days from the receipt of the returned and undamaged item(s)
